Meet Dr. Kimball
Dr. Kimball
If you wish, I encourage you to schedule a brief meeting with me prior to making your first dental appointment at my office. I know I am sometimes a bit uncomfortable seeing a "stranger" for health care. If you are fearful or anxious about dental care, this can be an important first step. Even if you're not, it is my hope to continue seeing you and your family for your dental care needs for many years, so getting to know each other is important. If we have already met, thank you for coming to see me.

I am a native Washingtonian, though I did spend a few of my early years in Alaska. I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Zoology in 1977 and again in 1981 with Doctor of Dental Surgery. (Yes, I am a Husky, but I do not follow sports to any great extent, so if you are a die hard Cougar, I won't bug you about it.)
My wife Kay and I met while she was a dental hygiene student at the UW. We married in 1979 and since that time have raised two daughters. We moved to Spokane in 1992 to be closer to Kay's side of the family and to get away from the rat race that the Puget Sound area had become. (I still chuckle to myself when I hear "the traffic in this town is just awful"). Kay retired some time ago from dental hygiene practice and now operates a quilting business: www.thequiltedcat.net.
Besides my main hobby of dentistry I also enjoy working with computers and networks, internet games, boating, golfing, gardening and remodeling houses.
